Ben Yona Ltd. is one of the founding fathers of the Israeli precious stones
industry. It all began back in 1959 when the government factory that was managed
by Yona Ben-Yona was taken over by the private sector. Israel's top precious
stone expert opened his own company in 1970, as the precious stone industry
flourished in the new Israeli diamond Exchange in Ramat-Gan. Mines in Africa
were cultivated by the Israeli newcomers to service the growing demand for
precious stones worldwide.

Today, Israel is one of the world centers for precious stones and
Ben Yona now specializes in cutting and exporting Emeralds, Tanzanites &
Aqua Marines of all shapes and sizes. The son, Yuval Ben-Yona, established a
diamond company, which manufactures 0.10-2.00 Carat rounds. Ben-Yona diamonds
thrive on being a part of the Israeli Diamond Exchange and all the benefits that
come with it.
